The Delaware Mental Health & Recovery Services Board (DMMHRSB) was recently recertified under the “Culture of Quality” standards by the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities (OACBHA).
As one of only 31 Mental Health & Recovery Services Boards in Ohio that are certified, DMMHRSB was recognized for meeting and exceeding standards of quality and value. This is an important recognition and one DMMHRSB works hard to maintain, according to DMMHRSB Executive Director Deanna Brant.
“As a Board we are committed to providing access to quality services to meet the needs of our residents. We achieve this through planning with community stakeholders to be efficient, effective, and accountable. It is an honor to be recognized for the value and quality of the work that we do. We proudly share this honor with our providers of care.”
The Culture of Quality has been developed by OACBHA as an evolutionary process that continuously looks for ways to advance Ohio’s behavioral health system to a system of excellence. It is designed to enhance accountability and consistency, while allowing the flexibility for Boards to be responsive to local needs.
The Delaware-Morrow Mental Health and Recovery Services Board provides a comprehensive continuum of mental health and substance abuse prevention and treatment services in the two county area.
